Behavior Guidelines

Our approach is different from many offices. We use praise, positive language and creative demonstrations to meet the individual needs of your child. Using singing and other interactive techniques, we keep our patients engaged throughout dental treatment. Every child brings different emotions to the dental visit, such as excitement, curiosity and sometimes fear. Mindful of this, our staff is skilled at presenting things in a child-friendly and child-understandable manner with care and compassion.

The conventional pediatric dental office is the appropriate setting to treat the majority of children. However, some children may have extensive dental needs and/or medical disabilities or conditions which require sedation or general anesthesia. If your child needs these services, Dr. Fran can refer you to the appropriate health professional. Often after that treatment is completed, patients return to Dr. Fran to continue their ongoing dental care.
