By a wide margin, Dr. Francine Paladino and Dr. Frank Smithgall are the best dentists my family and I have ever visited. Their examinations are thorough and very gently done. It is clear that they are knowledgeable about the latest techniques in dentistry, but their office exudes a homey comfortable feeling that immediately gets rid of any anxiety a patient might have about going to the dentist. Somehow, unlike most doctors and dentists, they have figured out a way to organize their practice so that there is rarely any wait. When my grandson fell and injured his mouth at the age of 2 while I was babysitting, there isn’t any other person I would trust with him than Dr. Fran. Even during an emergency, Dr. Fran can make you feel comfortable and safe. Not only is she knowledgeable in her profession, but her gracious manner with children and their families is consistent and natural. Our grandson, now 9 years old, looks forward to his time at her office and can even explain to me what Dr. Paladino completed during his visit. My children love going to Dr. Fran’s office. They are excited for their appointments, and my three year old daughter tells me how she misses Dr. Fran when we’re not there. When the kids are there for their visit, Dr. Fran makes it a pleasant and even fun time for them. At their last visit, when my six year old son was finished with his exam, he ran out into the waiting room, jumping up and down about how great his visit was. We are so thankful that we have found a dentist as caring and attentive to our children’s needs as Dr. Fran is. Thank you!

Dr. Fran is simply the best. She has treated all three of my children with stellar dental care and with kindness. She is extremely professional and warm, as are all her staff members. In multiple instances, Dr. Fran has identified individual concerns and remedies for my children’s dental issues and has managed their care beautifully, in some cases coordinating with other specialists. Dr. Fran has a wonderful manner with children and adults alike, and as a direct result of her care, my children (some of whom are now adults) have beautiful smiles and no fear of the dentist. Our oldest daughter was only 2 years old when she fell from a tricycle onto a concrete floor, face first. After rushing our daughter to the ER, our next stop that day was to Dr. Paladino (we call her Dr. Fran) when the ER doctor indicated he thought our daughter’s teeth had been pushed back into her gums from the fall. From the first moment we called Dr. Fran’s office we knew we were in good hands. We had never seen her before but Dr. Fran fit us into her schedule immediately when she heard our story. She was so gentle with our daughter and with us. She was candid about the dental problems we might face as our daughter got older but reassured us after every annual check-up that she was optimistic because things were looking good. Today, our daughter has a beautiful smile, thanks in large part to the exceptional care she (and we) received from Dr. Fran over the past 18 years. We consider Dr. Fran part of our family.
