How We Schedule Appointments

Our office staff makes every effort to accommodate your schedule. The best time of day for infants, toddlers and preschool-age children’s appointments is in the morning since they are more rested and therefore better able to focus for an optimum visit. In the same way, school age children with treatment other than check-ups should be scheduled in the morning or early afternoon. Dental appointments are an excused absence and our office can provide you with verification and an excuse note. Our office provides preventative and comprehensive dental care for our patients, which should reduce the need for additional treatment visits. It is not customary in our practice to treat patients on an emergency basis only, since we embrace a preventative dental philosophy.

When an appointment is made, this time is set aside for your child. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require you to cancel an appointment. However, if you need to cancel an appointment we request that you notify us 24 hours or one business day in advance of your scheduled appointment time. This allows us to offer that appointment to another patient who may wish to be seen sooner.
